Antwort: Antwort: Performance data

Hello Des,

we also have no line for sending data, but pm400 is allways running. When
you look at "Work with automatically scheduled jobs" can you activate the
job Q1PDR (PERFORMANCE DATA REDUCTION)? I think this job purge the members
in QMPGDATA.

Hi, Lutz.

I had set the purge days to 1. What I find strange when I check the
PM400 status is that the Collection Service is active, but the PM400
scheduler is inactive. The last transmission attempt was in August
last year. Does the scheduled transmission need to take place for
the purge days setting to actually take affect? Since we have
upgraded our hardware, we no longer have phone lines for each
iSeries, so haven't set up the PM400 transmissions again...

Any suggestions?

Thanks and regards,

Des.
