Changing host name
I'm setting up a `cold' disaster site. This is a stripped downAS400 that can run our production with limited performance, but
without any development or quality assurance systems.
The DR site 400 is on the network and the host name must be
different. I have done this before and successfully changed the
host name and had no issues, but this time, when trying to start
SAP, the WP cannot do a dbconnect. I've apparently missed changing
something, since SAP thinks this is a 3 tier system. The WP
joblogs shows the 400 is trying to use opticonnect to get to a
dbserver, so the WP processes has the old host name.
At the DR site, I've done a basic save/restore. Then I have changed
the host name under network attributes, cfgtcp, SAP default.pfl, and
start profiles. Also file INSTVERS. I removed the link under
QFileSvr to the dev/qas system. Since none of that has allowed SAP
to start, I also changed the .CFG files
under /usr/sap/trans/config/SYS to show the new host name. I do not
see anything abnormal in sapstart.log.
The one thing I do see that is not correct, is the <SID>ofr
wrkenvvar display shows the orginal sapdbhost name, not the renamed
host name.
What did I miss?
Durban Tours - Südafrika Safari
RFUMSV00 - Advance Return for Tax on Sales/Purchases TXBHW - Original Tax Base Amount in Local Currency
