We also have this problem since we upgraded to V5R2. It was not a problem beforethis but we had to upgrade the kernel at the same time we upgraded the OS. Sap
told us it is a kernel issue and would be fixed at patch level 1735. You will
also se errors in SM21 when you try to log those users of manually.
We have not install kernel patch 1735 yet, so if you do and it does or does not
fix it please let me know.

Hi Robert,
The ITs logoff problem you have, do you get a MCH4417 error when a user
logs off and while not yet completely logged off re-pushes the yes-logoff
button of the webgui?
And does that user gets status 4 in SM04 and never disappears from the
user list only after restarting SAP?
We opened a oss message for this, which is not yet solved.
Maybe we could combine forces

Hi Eduardo,
SAP is on our System, cause of problems with logoff
ITS-Users.
First they said, we should apply DW1756 and then
they found that this patch don't help as much.
today they set the page EXT-Kernel 4.6d EBCDIC offline,
cause of fixing major problems generally.
