R3 and MYSAP erp
Hi Chris,there is absolutely no problem and no change in availability on
platforms. It is just the point, that SAP boosts a new product, that
needs new contracts if you still should have a R3 contract. If you
should have a mySAP.com or mySAP-Business-Suite Contract already
nothing changes at all.
You would go to 4.6C ASCII and do an immediate upgrade to ECC 5.0
(without the need of R/3 Enterprise in between).
But all customers that are still using the "old R3 contract", should
contact the sales people, because SAP gives a lot of discount on this
new product this year and may reduce this discount in the following
years - you can even still use the current release of SAP when you
changed your contract to a mysap-erp-contract ... (so, there is no
technical isssue involved at the same time)
