New easy tool to run SQLs without STRSQL
Hi all,you all know, that you can run SQLs on iSeries with SQLUTIL or with
CRTQMQRY. But the first thing does not keep any old SQLs for later
use via F9 and the second one needs always programming and so on.
That's why there is a new STR(CON)SQL tool out there, that runs on
any AS/400 and combines both.
You can run the SQLs in batch when you like and it behaves very
similar to STRSQL - it is even called STRSQL if you like.
(The only disadvantage is that it doesn't support the F4 help, but
therefore it keeps all old SQLs, that you ever used, so that you more
or less won't miss F4 after some usage)
