DB/SQL Problem

Hi Volker,

Thanks for the info. I'm checking with our Basis Administrator on the
ST03N statistics but from our OS/400 monitoring there was a definite
gradual increase in CPU utilization with the passing of time after SQL
packages are deleted. For example, if packages were deleted on a weekend,
Monday and Tuesday would show very few SQL 7917 errors and typical CPU
use. By Friday, there would be many errors in our job logs and an
increase of 20 - 30% in CPU utilization.

We have not had an increase in number of users.

Tom

Hi Tom,

I forgot to ask:
Did your responsetime change in ST03N ?
Are you having more users on it ?
Do you think, that the performance degrades after several days or
weeks and gets recovered with deleting the SQL-Packs ? (because this
shouldn't be the case)

Regards

Volker
