Richard,

I'm in favor of frequent IPL's - probably too frequent. We IPL every
night following our backup but it still hasn't cleaned up the SQL errors.

Thanks for letting me know about the redbook.

Hello,

I am completly agree with Thomas and I guess that an IPL is more than
usefull as the IPL would clear the plan cache.

see in the red book SG24-6598-00 ,
Preparing for and Tuning the V5R2 SQL Query Engine
on DB2 Universal Database for iSeries

PS : I dont said that we must do an ipl but it's usefull in case of
trouble,
