** Warning Kernel 1768

Hello,

it is not right to say it is necessary to delete the SQL packeges
whenever you install a new kernel patch. There exist some issues
where it is necessesary, but they are are all well described (e.g.
switching from EBCDIC to ASCII or from the COM to the EXT kernel).
Usually applying a new kernel patch does not invalidate the packages
from the former patch level.
