DIR_EXECUTABLE does not exist in R3 profile
Dear Group,I have question to ask.
My client is running SAP R3 40B on 740 & 820 machine with V4R5M0 OS.
They have setup to 3-tier environment. My question is, I'm unable to
start sap on the app server which is 820 machine. The DB server looks
fine and run as usual.
The connection between DB server & App server is using 1 crossed utp
cable. Both connections are Ok seems I can ping each other. I start
R3 using the menu created for user PRDOFR then I see the message 'R3
system ID PRD instance 01 started' but from the 'wrkactjob' on R3_01
sbs, there are no dispatcher running. The only I can see is the R3_01
subsystem itself. I also cannot find the SAPOSCOL wp.
When I press F1 on the message and see the details(F10), I can see
some message says 'Parameter DIR_EXECUTABLE does not exist in
/usr/sap/PRD/SYS/profile/START_D01'. What does this means?
I browsed using wrklnk/wrklnksap on the path and it's exist. I can
see the config file there. Is there anything to do with the variable
DIR_EXECUTABLE? How I'm going solve this, check or edit this variable?
