Selecting Substitutions

Note

This customer exit is obsolete and is no longer included actively in developments later than SAP SCM 5.0. We recommend that if you use SAP SCM 5.0 or later, you use cross-rule BAdI Preselection of Suitable Substitutions instead.

Use

You can use this customer exit to select substitutions that were returned from the rules and have already been checked for availability. Insert this customer exit if a substitution should also be confirmed, for example, dependent on the date.

The function module EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLATPT_002 is called in the following call sequence:

  1. Call of the rules-based ATP check. A rule with substitutions must be found.
  2. Check of substitutions
  3. Selection of substitutions that are returned to the calling application via EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLATPT_002
The prerequisite for this call is, however, that the number of substitutions parameter is set to the value one substitution only for the corresponding rule in integrated rule maintenance, and that you have defined the entity that applies to the number of substitutions, both in the rule and in the rule maintenance.
  1. Display of the check results (with further selection and change options)

In the code example for the function module EXIT_/SAPAPO/SAPLATPT_002, all substitutions are selected, so that a final selection of a substitution must be made in the hierarchical ATP results display.
