In the application system, the item data of the BOM can be enhanced by adding user-defined fields. To do this, structure CI_STOP is defined in the Data Dictionary.

The user-defined fields are part of some structures that are transferred to the interfaces of the APIs. To read and write the data within the APIs, user exits are provided.

All user exits are in function group XCAVC and have a standardized structure.

  • They do not support error handling.
  • Each user exit only handles an individual item.
