This SAP enhancement enables you to implement your own logic for determining the authority-assigned numbers for waste management business partners that have been assigned to waste approvals and disposal documents.

The customer exit is in the function group XCBWA. The function is called in the function module EHSWA_DELIVER_AUTH_NO_FRAME. The function EHSWA_DELIVER_AUTH_NO_FRAME is called when the following take place:

  • Assignment of a waste management business partner to a waste approval
  • Assignment of a waste management business partner to a disposal document

The function is called after a waste management business partner has been assigned.

The authority-assigned numbers are stored in the master data for a waste management business partner, depending on the validity area. In the standard system, the authority-assigned numbers are determined according to the logic described in the documentation for the IMG activity Specify Validity Areas. If you want to determine the authority-assigned numbers using another logic, use this customer exit. Depending on where the customer exit is called, the following interface parameters are available:

Assignment of a waste management business partner to a waste approval

Parameter Meaning
I_FLG_MD_CALL If you set this parameter, the function is
called in the master data, that is in the
waste approval
I_APCAT Approval type
I_RECNBPWA Internal data record number of a waste
management business partner
I_ROLEBPWA Role of the waste management business partner
I_RECNDOC Internal data record number of the waste
approval
E_BP_AUTHNOS_WA Authority-assigned numbers determined of the
waste management business partner
E_FLG_CONT_WITH_STANDARD This parameter must be initial if the
standard logic is no longer to be processed

Assignment of a waste management business partner to a disposal document

Parameter Meaning
I_RVLID Validity area (determined from the disposal
document type)
I_RECNBPWA Internal data record number of a waste
management business partner
I_ROLEBPWA Role of the waste management business partner
I_RECNDOC Internal data record number of the disposal
document
E_BP_AUTHNOS_WA Authority-assigned numbers determined of the
waste management business partner
E_FLG_CONT_WITH_STANDARD This parameter must be initial if the
standard logic is no longer to be processed

You trigger the exceptions NO_AUTHNO_FOUND if no authority-assigned number could be determined.

The numbers determined are stored in the waste approval or in the disposal document.
