The system provides the selection conditions which the line item display was accessed with. Therefore, you can request the user to enter selection conditions if these are not entered but are necessary due to performance reasons (an account with many items).

Example:

Table SELTAB which contains selection conditions has the following format:

KTEXT 10 Name of field BELNR (document no.)

VONSL 50 Lower limit 0100000050

BISSL 18 Upper limit 0100000090

XINIT 1 Search for initial? ' '

STEPL 4 Input line (internal)

In searching for a single value, VONSL = BISSL.
