Functionality
This customer exit allows you to check or modify all the data that was transferred to the PurchaseOrder.Change BAPI. More importantly, you can check the content of the ExtensionIn parameter before it is processed further in the BAPI.
This customer exit is called up before the system checks your input in the standard fields and saves the purchase order.
The following parameters are available to the customer exit:
- All import parameters and import tables and the ExtensionIn parameter from the PurchaseOrder.Change BAPI can be transferred.
- This customer exit sends back a return parameter in order to report any errors that occurred in the customer exit.
Notes
If the data that was transferred to the BAPI is invalid, the BAPI returns an error message instead of creating a purchase order.
