Where can the Exit be found?
The Exit is in the same program as that in which the distribution reference
model is read. The program is called by an external PC tool (Distribution Architect). This tool actually needs the model for its own configuration.
What can one do with the Exit?
You can extend the SAP distribution reference model. You can find a description of this model in the "ALE Consultant's Guide"
You must extend the model if you develop your own distribution scenarios and want to configure them using the "Distribution Architect" PC Tool.
How is this done?
The complete standard distribution model is available in the Exit. You can append further information to the tables.
WARNING!
Please ensure that your data are consistent. The PC Tool ignores inconsistent parts of models.
Keep to the SAP naming standard ("Z...") when assigning names to components of models.
