You can use this customer exit to carry out an extended material check. The customer exit is then procesed every time you create or change a material component.
In the customer exit, you have the option of sending a warning, information, or error message.
An example of when you might use this is as follows:
No batch is entered in a material which must be handled in batches. Here, you have the option of requiring an entry (error message) or a issuing a warning. Include LXCN2F06 contains example code for issuing a message.
