This customer enhancement enables you to deviate from the standard system when deleting class and configuration data for configured objects.
You can delete a characteristic from a class even if previously configured objects (for example, sales orders) exist.
This process assumes that the class is a variant class type (for example, 300), that you perform the deletion using Engineering Change Management, and that the change date occurs in the future.
