EXIT_SAPLEEWA_MD_ROUTE_003 -

This function module is used to transport the route object data to the customer enhancement, where it is needed for your checks in the PAI subscreen. The object structure (x_obj) is globally saved in the object program.

This transfer is necessary because it is possible that further objects of the same object category were inserted, or object data was changed, between the PBO and PAI of an object. This means that your local object context was possibly overwritten. This way, you can update your customer-specific fields before the output. the function module documentation.
