Functions

This function module allows you to fill user-defined fields that you have attached as an append structure to the extract structure for master data or texts in the SAP BW.
Do not use the module to change the contents of key fields.
Do this in the SAP BW instead.

The following transfer parameters are available:

Import parameters

I_DATASOURCE:
Name of the DataSource for master data or texts
(filled with data requests for BW Releases >= 2.0A)

I_CHABASNM:
Name of the basic characteristic for master data (compatibility BW 1.2B)

I_UPDMODE:

Update mode, as requested in the SAP BW

Table parameters

I_T_SELECT:

Table containing the selection criteria stored in the SAP BW Scheduler
This specification is for information purposes only and is normally not required.

I_T_FIELDS:

List of the transport structure fields
Only these fields are actually filled in the data table and can be meaningfully addressed in the program.

Changing parameters

C_T_DATA:

Table with the data received from the Service API in the format of an extract structure.
(Data request for BW Release 1.2B: The extract sturcture is entered into
table RODCHABAS in field RODCHABAS-STRUCTURE.)

C_T_MESSAGES:
Table containing error log.
