Functions

This function module allows you to change the contents of a transfer table created for a hierarchy request. This is useful with user- defined hierarchy classes.
Do not use the module to change the contents of key fields. Do this in SAP BW instead.

The following transfer parameters are available:

Import parameters

I_DATASOURCE:
Name of the DataSource for hierarchies

I_S_HIEBAS:
Structure containing the assignment of a basic characteristic to a hierarchy class from the source system. (BW 1.2B compatibility)

I_S_HIEFLAG:
Structure containing the hierarchy control indicators for basic characteristics.

I_S_HIER_SEL:
Structure containing the requested hierarchy.

I_T_LANGU:
Table with the languages for which descriptions have been requested

C_T_HIETEXT:
Table with the description of the hierarchy in the requested language.

C_T_HIENODE:
Table with all components (nodes) of the hierarchy.

C_T_FOLDERT:
Table with the descriptions of all nodes that cannot be posted to in the hierarchy in the requested language.

C_T_HIEINTV:
Table with those hierarchy leaves that represent value intervals.
