Allocation Table

Use

In the SAP standard system you can enter a default delivery date in the header or item level of the allocation table, which is valid for all sites and can also be transferred to the follow-on documents. The day of the week on which a site is delivered to is not determined automatically. You can maintain an alternative delivery date for each site, but the more sites there are, the more maintenance is involved.

The SAP standard system allows you to split deliveries among as many delivery dates as you like (for example, 50% of the goods on 11.4 and 30% on 11.6 and 20% on 11.8). This split is valid for all the sites.

If you require other variants to determine delivery dates for ship-to parties when you are using the allocation table, you should do so with a user exit.

Dependencies

The user exit is only used when it has been set in Customizing to the allocation table item category with the 'Determine delivery date ship-to party'.
