Use this enhancement to control the table from which the system takes the forecast values for calculating expected sales.

In the standard system, the forecast values are taken from table PROW if Inventory Management on a quantity and value basis is active for the material and plant concerned. In all other cases, i.e. when Inventory Management is on a value-only basis and when the recipient is a customer (and not a plant), table S130 is used.

If you want to replace this logic with your own, you have to activate this enhancement. This is especially the case if in Release 4.0B or lower you used Flexible Planning for Inventory Management on a quantity and want to continue to do so. In this case, you can use the sample code contained in the standard system.

The enhancement is used in two places:

1. Forecasting sales between the planning date and the goods receipt date
2. Forecasting sales for the period of the target range of coverage from goods receipt (to calculate the dynamic target stock)
