Functionality

You can use this user exit to ensure that no entries from table MVKE (retail-specific data) are created during listing, to which the assortments you want to list have already been assigned.

You can link an assortment to a distribution chain in the following ways:

  • The assortment is only assigned to one distribution chain.
  • The plants which are assigned to the assortment, deliver the materials via various distribution chains.
  • Customers which are assigned to the assortment receive goods via various distribution chains.
  • If a material is listed for an assortment, all the distribution chains to which the assortment is assigned are determined.

If no records from table MVKE are to be generated for the distribution chains, you can adjust your user exit accordingly. To ensure simple implementation, see ABAP statement CLEAR CREATE_NO_SALES_LINE_DATA.

This ensures that the entry from table MVKE is generated only for the distribution chains to which the assortment is to be directly assigned.
