This function module is called directly before trip data is saved in the database. It allows the customer to program additional validations, for example, himself.
All tables that are involved when a trip is created or changed are transferred to the function module. Changes in transferred tables or work areas in the function module are transferred to the database without further checks. Great care should therefore be taken when programming in this function module.
If it should become clear during checks in this function module that you do not want an update of trip data, the parameter CONTINUE_WITH_UPDATE can be set to a value other than 'Y'. Then the save routine is left without causing an update of the database.
This function module is called by transactions PR01, PR04 and PR05. Transaction PR02 is not supported by this exit.
