FDTAX001 - Enhancement to Transaction FDTA (event after the download)

This enhancement enables users to further process data that was downloaded from data medium exchange files using the DME management functions (transaction FDTA). Users can, for example, start an external program on the application server similar to the methods for class CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES to process the generated file.

The DME management functions call up function module EXIT_SAPMFDTA_001. The complete file name is copied, since this may have to be abbreviated in the structure REGUT. One of the tables from this structure is also copied, containing the detailed specifications on the generated file (company code, house bank (if applicable), format, program used to generate the file, user etc.). This table usually contains only a single entry; multiple table entries are only possible if several data media are combined to form a single file.
