This enhancement allows residual budgets to be calculated individually by customers. This makes sense if there are certain restrictions where the the transferrable amount permitted by the customer deviates from the residual budget currently available.

For example, this can occur in the following cases:

  • Certain budget transactions are not to be carried forward.
  • Special calculation guidelines apply for certain FM account assignments
  • Special rules are to be applied for certain users
  • To carry out this calculation the necessary data is transferred to function module EXIT_SAPLFMCF_BUD_001.
If a user-defined calculation is to be carried out, the export parameter of the module should be filled accordingly.

The calculation made here will be used in the following places:

  • Request / approval of residual budgets:
the amount calculated here, rather than the current residual budget is displayed here as the maximum transferable amount and the requested / accepted residual budget is checked against it.
  • Determining the residual budgets to be carried forward:
the amount calculated here, instead of the residual budget currently available is:
  • used as the basis for determining the residual budget to be carried forward, in case the approval of residual budgets is set. Transfer regulations can also be used.

  • considered as the maximum amount against which the accepted residual budget is checked again, in case the approval of residual budgets is set.

A programming template for this calculation is supplied with the include LXFM005.
