Enhancement number 06: check-digit determination

This enhancement is for the project-specific check-digit determination for the external call number (production number). In JIT calls this is transferred by EDI, as the unique key of the call.

  • If the customer send the JIT data with a check digit by EDI, then you can check the correctness of the check digit with this enhancement and if necessary you can issue an error message.
  • When manually maintaining the call (transaction JIT1 and JIT4) the digit can be checked or automatically generated on entering the screen, depending on whether the check digit has been entered.
