Customer Exits for JIT Processing (SeqJC, SumJC)

Function group JIT04: Action control

Enhancement number 01: User-defined actions

This enhancement is used to implement user-defined actions. As a central object of JIT processing, the action represents a business function relating to a quantity of calls/components groups. By defining action nets, you can map the specific process. You can define additional project-specific actions, alongside the numerous actions already implemented by SAP. This enhancement allows you both to implement new actions as well as modify data, either before or after carrying out actions:

  • EXIT_SAPLJIT04_001: You can use this exit to implement additional new actions. Within this exit, you can of course also carry out standard actions.
  • EXIT_SAPLJIT04_002: Immediately before each action is carried out, project-specific adjustments and enhancements can be made to the data for the execution of the action.
  • EXIT_SAPLJIT04_003: After each action is carried out further functions for a quantity of calls/components groups can be carried out with this exit. For example, you can carry out further actions selectively or you can modify the data returned by the system.

If you require additional user-specific data for processing the call/components groups, you can make it available using the customer include CI_JITACTION.
