According to Table B2001, a penalty interest invoice is to be created in File Ref. &1 which is defined in Table B0102, Function 1 as number assignment type "3". With this assignment type, penalty interest can be processed only with the menu item "Prepare Payment Reminders".

Either enter a new value for "Post Penalty Interest" in Financial Accounting Posting Functions (Maintain Company Data) or set up a file reference with a valid number assignment type in Table B2001.
