Asterisk must follow integer repetition factor

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : A syntax error was found in the statement. An integer was found in a FORM statement that is not preceded by a format specification, indicating a repetition factor. The integer is not followed by an asterisk.
Recovery . . . : Remove the integer or supply the asterisk following the integer. A format specification must follow the asterisk.
