PD field length must be less than or equal to 16

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : A syntax error was found in the statement. A FORM statement was entered that contains an invalid PD format specification. The field length is greater than 16. The field length is equal to one plus the total number of digits in the packed decimal field divided by 2.
Recovery . . . : Supply a field length of not more than 16 characters.
