EXTDESCR not allowed with MAT form of statement

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : A syntax error was detected in the statement. The EXTDESCR keyword was found in a MAT form of a READ, REREAD, REWRITE, or WRITE statement. EXTDESCR is not allowed with MAT on these statements.
Recovery . . . : Correct the statement so that it meets the criteria described above.
