Argument is of wrong type for function call

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : A user-defined function or intrinsic function call has an argument which is of wrong data type. For user-defined functions, the argument does not match the data type of its corresponding parameter defined in the DEF statement defining that function. For intrinsic functions, the argument is not of the type expected for that function.
Recovery . . . : Correct the condition described above and continue processing.
