Call to controller &24 failed. Too many dialing digits. (C R)

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : If an automatic calling unit is being used, the remote system answered the call before the local system had finished dialing.
If the modem is dialing, the number of dialing digits exceeded an internal limit.
Recovery . . . : Do one or more of the following:
-- Use the Work with Controller Description (WRKCTLD) command to ensure that there are not too many dialing digits in the connection number (CNNNBR parameter) in controller description &24.
-- Use the Work with Line Description (WRKLIND) command to ensure that there are not too many dialing digits in the calling number (CALLNBR parameter) in line description &23.
-- Power off the automatic calling unit or modem, then power on.
Possible choices for replying to message . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
C -- Cancel recovery and inform any applications that are waiting for an operation that the recovery has been canceled.
R -- Try the operation one more time.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The error log identifier is &22.
The error code is &40: If V.25bis is being used, the total number o f CNNNBR and CALLNBR characters is too large. If V.25 is being used, the input/output processor (IOP) detected the distant station connected signal before all of the dialing digits were sent to the automatic calling unit.
