Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The system cannot get enough resources for its internal operations. Either there are too many lines on input/output processor (IOP) &26 or the combined data rate of the lines is too high. This is a performance problem.
Recovery . . . : Reduce the number of lines on the IOP. If this is not possible, try adjusting the configuration values for the size of the buffers being used.
For the synchronous data link control (SDLC) environment, reduce the maximum frame size (MAXFRAME parameter) value on the change line description command.
For the binary synchronous communications (BSC) or asynchronous environment, reduce the maximum buffer size (MAXBUFFER parameter) value on the change line description command.
For the X.25 environment, reduce the maximum packet size (MAXPKTSIZE parameter) value on the change line description command.
Then do one of the following:
-- Type C to cancel recovery and to inform any applications that are waiting for an operation that the recovery has been canceled.
-- Type R to try the operation one more time.
If the problem continues, press F14 to run problem analysis.
Possible choices for replying to message . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
C -- Cancel.
R -- Try again one more time.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The error log identifier is &22.
The error code is &40: The data link control (DLC), media access control layer of the system or the port monitor cannot get storage for resources (such as timers or message note buffers) from the IOP common licensed internal code. This is probably a subsystem configuration problem; however, it could also be caused by a DLC error or too many instances having been activated by the user.
