Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The system cannot get enough resources for its internal operations. Either there are too many lines on input/output processor (IOP) &26, or the combined data rate of the lines is too high.
Recovery . . . : Do one or more of the following:
Reduce the number of lines on the IOP.
Use the Work with Line Description (WRKLIND) command to display line &23.
If the line type is *SDLC, change the maximum frame size (MAXFRAME parameter) of the line description to a smaller value.
If the line type is *BSC, change the maximum buffer size (MAXBUFFER parameter) of the line description to a smaller value.
If the line type is *ASYNC, change the maximum buffer size (MAXBUFFER parameter) of the line description to a smaller value.
If the line type is *X25, change the maximum packet size (MAXPKTSIZE parameter) of the line description to a smaller value.
If the line type is *TRLAN, change the maximum number of controllers (MAXCTL parameter) of the line description to a smaller value.
If the line type is *ELAN, change the maximum number of controllers (MAXCTL parameter) of the line description to a smaller value.
If the problem continues, press F14 to run problem analysis.
Possible choices for replying to message . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
C -- Cancel recovery and inform any applications that are waiting for an operation that the recovery has been canceled.
G -- Start the automatic communications recovery again as defined by the communications recovery limit (CMNRCYLMT) for line &23.
R -- Try the operation one more time.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The error log identifier is &22.
The error code is &40: The data link control (DLC), media access control layer of the system, or the port monitor cannot get storage for resources (such as timers or message note buffers) from the IOP common licensed internal code.
This error can be caused by:
-- A subsystem configuration problem.
-- A data link control error.
-- Too many user-activated tasks.
