Message : CPA5777
The call for line &23 on network interface &30 failed, no response from the network. (C N R)

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : A timeout occurred waiting for a response to a call attempt. Possible causes include:
-- Network congestion.
-- The remote system may not be able to process the incoming call fast enough due to overload.
-- The IBM i Licensed Program may not be operating correctly. The ISDN cause code associated with the call is &41 (&43 &44).
Recovery . . . : If line quality is suspected, contact your local telephone company. Verify that the remote equipment is not overloaded. Then do one of the following:
-- Use the Vary Configuration (VRYCFG) command to vary network interface &30 off, then on.
-- Reply to the message.
-- Press F14 to run problem analysis.
Possible choices for replying to message . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
C -- Cancel the dial attempt to the remote ISDN system. Any applications and subsystems that are waiting for an operation will be informed that the call has been canceled.
N -- Retry the dial attempt to the remote ISDN system. Depending on the values specified for the switched line list (SWTLINLST) and the switched line selection (SWTLINSLCT) parameters configured in each controller description, the system may choose a different line description to complete the call. The SWTLINSLCT parameter is only valid for X.25 configurations.
R -- Try the dial operation to the remote ISDN system again using line &23.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The error log identifier is &22. The error code is &40. A protocol timer has expired thus indicating that a response was not received from its peer. Depending on which timer has expired, the call may be cleared, retried, a status enquiry message may be sent, or the channel may be placed in maintenance mode. The following timers can cause this message: T301, T302, T303, T305, T308, T310, and T313.
The ISDN cause information element is: &42.
