Controller &24 contact not successful. Logical link protocol error detected.(C G R)

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : A qualified logical link control (QLLC) or enhanced logical link control (ELLC) protocol error has occurred. This is probably a local configuration or remote system problem.
Recovery . . . : Insure that the X.25 link protocol (LINKPCL parameter) in the specified controller description matches the protocol used by the remote system.
If the problem continues, press F14 to run problem analysis.
Possible choices for replying to message . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
C -- Cancel recovery and inform any applications that are waiting for an operation that the recovery has been canceled.
G -- Start the automatic communications recovery again as defined by the communications recovery limit (CMNRCYLMT) configured for line &23.
R -- Try again one more time.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The error log identifier is &22.
The error code is &40: The QLLC or ELLC level has detected a protocol error and has tried to do as much recovery as it is able to do. The specified cause of the protocol error may be identified by the diagnostic code.
The cause code is: &41 (&43).
The diagnostic code is: &42 (&44).
