Message : CPA58AC
Contact not successful for controller &24. Data buffer exceeded. (C R)
Message Long Text :
Cause . . . . . : Data buffer overflow was encountered by the local system while performing more bit (M-bit) X.25 packet reassembly. The probable causes are:
-- Remote system configuration problem.
-- Network problem.
-- Local system problem.
The system data buffer size is based on controller type, as follows:
-- Systems Network Architecture (SNA) controller with X.25 link protocol
(LINKPCL) set to *ELLC: 1018 bytes
-- SNA controller with LINKPCL set to *QLLC: 1024 bytes
-- Asynchronous/X.25 controllers: 4096 bytes
Recovery . . . : Verify that the remote system configuration will not cause buffer overflow during data transfer, and that the network is operational, and then do one of the following:
-- Type C to cancel recovery and to inform any applications that are waiting for an operation that the recovery has been canceled.
-- Type R to try the operation one more time.
If the problem continues, report the problem (ANZPRB command).
Possible choices for replying to message . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . :
C -- Cancel.
R -- Try again one more time.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The error log identifier is &22. The local system ran out of data buffer space while performing packet reassembly. Two or more data packets were received having the more bit (M-bit) on, indicating they are logically associated. The local system was reassembling the data when the overflow occurred.
