Some parameters for relational database directory entry ignored.

Cause . . . . . : There are four kinds of relational database directory (RDB) entries: SNA (APPC) entries, TCP/IP entries, a local RDB entry, and entries for application requester driver programs. Only some parameters apply to each kind of entry. The parameters that don't apply are ignored and not saved with the RDB entry.
Recovery . . . : No action is required. Some parameters were ignored.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : For each kind of relational database directory (RDB) entry only certain parameters apply and are saved. The rest are ignored.
-- The only parameters that apply to SNA entries (having *SNA as their type) are the remote location name (RMTLOCNAME), the text field (TEXT), the APPC device description (DEV), the local location name (LCLLOCNAME), the remote network identifier (RMTNETID), the mode (MODE), the transaction program (TNSPGM), and possibly, the application requester driver program (ARDPGM).
-- The only parameters that apply to TCP/IP entries (having *IP as their type) is the remote location name (RMTLOCNAME), the text field (TEXT), the port or service name (PORT), and possibly, the application requester driver program (ARDPGM).
-- The only parameters that apply to the local RDB entry (having *LOCAL as the remote location name and *NONE as the type) is the remote location name (RMTLOCNAME) and the text field (TEXT).
-- The only parameters that apply to entries for application requester driver programs having *ARDPGM as the remote location name is the remote location name (RMTLOCNAME), the text field (TEXT), and the application requester driver program (ARDPGM).
