Message : CPC8805
SNADS receiver &3/&2/&1 ended abnormally.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The SNA Distribution Services (SNADS) receiver ended because of reason code &4. The reason codes and their meanings follow:
1 -- Receiver detected error.
2 -- Sender detected error.
3 -- APPC conversation error.
4 -- SNADS protocol error.
5 -- Internal object error.
6 -- Unknown errors occurred.
7 -- The amount of available auxiliary storage in the system ASP (auxiliary storage pool) has reached or is over the threshold value. This is a potentially serious system reason. The threshold storage limit has been exceeded or will be exceeded if the data object being sent to this system is received.
8 -- Communications could not be established with remote sender.
Recovery . . . : For reason codes 1 through 4, the system will automatically try to handle error recovery.
For reason code 5, use the ENDSBS command to end the QSNADS subsystem and then use the STRSBS command to start the QSNADS subsystem again.
For reason code 6, see the previously listed messages in the job log and correct the errors. Starting the SNADS sender again is the responsibility of the sending node.
For reason code 7, use the System Service Tools function to display and change the threshold value or use the RCLSTG command to reclaim storage on the receiving system. Then have the sending system start the SNADS sender. See the Backup and Recovery--Advanced Book, SC41-3305, for more information on the System Service Tools.
For reason code 8, check for previously listed messages in the job log and correct any errors. If no errors were found, an incorrect queue name was specified in the request data for the job.
Technical description . . . . . . . . :
Reason code 8 is most likely caused by one of the following conditions:
-- The request data for the job did not contain a valid queue name.
-- The request data for the job did not contain valid connection information (remote location name, remote net id, local location name, and mode name).
-- The remote system does not have a distribution queue defined for the connection that was established.
-- The SNADS implementation on the remote system does not support conversations started by a receiver.
