Only character string expressions allowed for &2.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : Parameters defined with EXPR(*YES) allow only character string expressions. Arithmetic, relational, and logical expressions are allowed only on the CHGVAR and IF commands.
Recovery . . . : For parameter &2, change the expression to a character string expression. More information on character string expressions can be found in the Information Center.
