Device &25 configuration not valid. Reason code &1.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : Vary Configuration (VRYCFG) command failed. Reason codes and their meanings follow:
--1386: A device name was not specifed for the robot device (ROBOTDEV) or robot host (ROBOTHOST) parameter for device &25.
--1387: The device specified on the ROBOTDEV parameter for device &25 is not an APPC or Async device.
--1388: The device specified on the ROBOTDEV parameter for device &25 has the same local location name and remote location name as a currently active device.
--2301: A device that is not attached to a controller description cannot be varied on.
--2306: Device &25 is not correct because it is attached to a controller that does not support workstation customizing.
--2307: Device &25 is not correct because another active device on the controller has the same local location name and remote location name.
Recovery . . . :
For reason code 1386, do one of the following:
--Use the CHGDEVMLB command to specify an APPC or Async device description for the robot device (ROBOTDEV) parameter or a TCP/IP name or address for the robot host (ROBOTHOST) parameter which will be used to communicate with the media library.
--Use the CFGDEVMLB command to have the appropriate controller and device created, and the media library device description updated.
--Use the CHGDEVMLB command and specify a resource that does not require a robot device description.
For reason code 1387, do one of the following:
--Use the CHGDEVMLB command to enter the name of an APPC or Async device description for the ROBOTDEV parameter.
--Use the CFGDEVMLB command to create an appropriate controller and device description, and to have the media library description updated.
For reason code 1388, use the CHGDEVMLB command to change the name of the ROBOTDEV parameter to the active device. The same APPC device must be used for all media library devices attached to the same media library.
For reason code 2301, do one of the following:
--Create a controller using the appropriate create controller description command and attach device &25.
--Delete device description &25 (DLTDEVD) command; then create device description &25 using the appropriate create device command, and attach it to a controller description that exists.
If the reason code is 2306, do one of the following:
--Create a controller using a controller type that supports workstation customizing and attach device &25.
--Remove the workstation customizing object (WSCST) parameter from the command.
For reason code 2307, change the APPC devices attached to the controller so the local location name and remote location name combination is unique for each device.
