Message : CPD2635
Line &23 vary on stopped.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : Line &23 configuration is not valid for this system unit.
For an asynchronous line description, either the line speed (LINESPEED parameter) value is 50 or 7200 bps or a conflict exists between bits per character and parity values. If 7 data bits per character (BITSCHAR parameter) was specified, parity (PARITY parameter) must be odd (*ODD) or even (*EVEN). If 8 data bits per character was specified, no parity (*NONE) is allowed.
For a bisynchronous line, more than 2 synchronization characters are specified for the SYNCCHARS parameter.
For a token-ring or Ethernet line, the maximum controllers (MAXCTL parameter) cannot exceed 128 or the line description is not compatible with the hardware resource.
For a TDLC line, the type of controller specified on the attached work station controller (WSC) parameter is not valid for this system unit.
For a SDLC line, the value specified for duplex (DUPLEX parameter) for line &23 is incorrect for the adapter.
Recovery . . . :
For an asynchronous line, if the line speed is in error, use the Change Line Description (Asynchronous) command (CHGLINASC) to change the LINESPEED parameter to a value other than 50 or 7200. If there is a conflict between bits per character and parity, use the CHGLINASC command to change the PARITY or BITSCHAR parameter values.
For a BSC line, use the Change Line Description (BSC) command (CHGLINBSC) to change the SYNCCHARS parameter value to 2.
For a token-ring line, use the Change Line Description (Token-Ring Network) command (CHGLINTRN) to change the MAXCTL parameter to a value of 128 or less or specify a line description that is compatible with the hardware resource.
For a TDLC line, use the Delete Line Description (DLTLIND) command to delete the line. Use the CRTLINTDLC command to create the line again, specifying an attached work station controller (WSC parameter) that is the correct type for this system unit.
For an Ethernet line, use the Change Line Description (Ethernet) command (CHGLINETH) to change the MAXCTL parameter to a value of 128 or less or specify a line description that is compatible with the hardware resource.
For a SDLC line, use option 2 on the Work with Line Descriptions display (WRKLIND command) to change the duplex value for the line description to specify *FULL. Then try the request again.
