Exchange identifier required for this controller.

Cause . . . . . : The exchange identifier (EXCHID parameter) is required under the following circumstances:
For finance and remote work station controllers, the exchange identifier is required when the link type (LINKTYPE parameter) is synchronous data link control (*SDLC) and either switched connection (SWITCHED parameter) or switched network backup (SNBU parameter) is *YES.
For APPC controllers, the exchange identifier is required when the link type is *SDLC, either SWITCHED or SNBU is *YES, and one of the following is true:
-- The controller is APPN-capable (APPN parameter is *YES) and the node type (NODETYPE parameter) is low entry networking node (*LENNODE)
The controller is not APPN-capable (APPN parameter is *NO) and a remote control point name (RMTCPNAME parameter) was not specified.
Recovery . . . : Specify the exchange identifier (EXCHID parameter) for this controller, and then try the request again.
