Cause . . . . . : You are trying to specify a separator for a format that does not allow user-defined separators. The *USA, *ISO, *EUR, and *JIS formats for both date and time have default separators and cannot be changed.

*USA slash (/) colon (:)
*ISO dash(-) period (.)
*EUR period (.) period (.)
*JIS dash (-) colon (:)
