Cause . . . . . : The address specified for this controller (combination of remote control point name (RMTCPNAME), exchange identifier (EXCHID), remote network ID (RMTNETID) adjacent link station (ADJLNKSTN) or SSCP identifier (SSCPID)) is the same as the address specified for controller &1.
For controller descriptions that specify link type (LINKTYPE parameter) *IDLC and switched connection (SWITCHED parameter) *YES, the following conditions must be met:
For APPC controllers, the combination of RMTCPNAME, RMTNETID, and EXCHID must be unique.
- If RMTCPNAME and RMTNETID are not specified, the EXCHID must be different than the EXCHID specified for:
-- Any other APPC controllers that do not specify RMTCPNAME and RMTNETID
-- Any remote work station controllers.
- If EXCHID is not specified, the RMTCPNAME and RMTNETID must be different than the RMTCPNAME and RMTNETID specified for:
-- Any other APPC controllers that do not specify an EXCHID
-- Any SNA host controllers that do not specify an SSCPID
For SNA host controllers, the combination of RMTCPNAME, RMTNETID, and SSCPID must be unique.
- If RMTCPNAME is *ANY and ADJLNKSTN is not *ANY, the combination of ADJLNKSTN and SSCPID must be unique.
- If RMTCPNAME and RMTNETID are not specified, the SSCPID must be different than the SSCPID specified for any other SNA host controllers that do not specify RMTCPNAME and RMTNETID
- If SSCPID is not specified, RMTCPNAME and RMTNETID must be different than the RMTCPNAME and RMTNETID specified for:
-- Any other SNA host controllers that do not specify SSCPID
-- Any APPC controllers that do not specify an EXCHID
Remote work station controllers must specify an EXCHID different than that specified for:
-- Any other remote work station controllers
-- Any APPC controllers that do not specify a RMTCPNAME
Recovery . . . : Correct the error by changing the remote control point name, exchange identifier, remote network ID, adjacent link station, or SSCP identifier. Then try the request again.
