Message : CPD8F79
Network server &30 vary on failed.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : A configuration error was found by the system. Address data associated with resource name &26 is not correct. Reason code &1. Reason codes and their meaning follow:
--00002005: The IOP is not operational.
--00002006: The IOP resource type does not match the object type being varied on.
--0000200F: An object address error occurred.
--00002010: An IOP reset is not allowed.
--00002011: The IOP is in use by object &31 type &32. If the object name and type are blanks, either the resource is in use by the Dedicated Service Tools (DST), another client, or the data is not available.
--00002012: A time-out or error occurred while attempting to perform a reset.
--00002016: The IOAs attached to the IOP are not operational.
--00002031: The IOP is currently in use by another network server.
--00002041: There is a line description configured for one of the ports and there are multiple cables attached to that port.
--00002042: A Token Ring line is configured for a port and an Ethernet cable is plugged into that port.
--00002043: An Ethernet line is configured for a port and a Token Ring cable is plugged into that port.
--00002044: A line description is configured for a port. However, there is no cable attached to that port, the cable is not operational, or there is a hardware problem associated with the port.
--00002050: Resource &26 does not exist on the system.
Recovery . . . :
Display the system resource manager database information (WRKHDWRSC command). Find the resource name for the corresponding communications IOP to be varied on. Verify that the resource name for the IOP is the same as the resource name specified for network server &30.
If the resource name specified in network server &30 corresponds to the resource name found for the communications IOP, display the QSYSOPR message queue (DSPMSG MSGQ(QSYSOPR) command). Look for messages at the beginning of the message queue that indicate equipment was removed or failed, and do the recovery action specified in those messages.
Verify that the configuration of servers and lines matches the hardware and cables installed. If the problem continues, report the problem (ANZPRB command).
