Interface &4 configured by NWSH &5 not started.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : Network server host adapter (NWSH) &5 was attempting to vary on. Interface &4 is configured in the NWSH but could not be started because reason code &1. The reason codes are:
1 - The interface &4 is not defined.
2 - The interface special type &6 is not supported.
3 - The interface line type &7 (&2) is not supported.
4 - The interface line description resource &9 is not supported.
5 - The interface status &8 (&3) in not correct for the requested operation.
6 - The interface &4 was started, but an error or timeout occurred that prevented a reply from being received. The start request may or may not have completed.
99 - Unknown error occurred.
Recovery . . . : Take an action based on the reason code &1. Reason codes and their meanings are as follows:
1 - Correct the interface configured for NWSH. Do one of the following:
-- Use the Add TCP/IP Interface (ADDTCPIFC) command to add TCP/IP interface &4 that can be used by the Network server host adapter (NWSH) &5.
-- Use the Change Device Desc (NWSH) (CHGDEVNWSH) command to change the Local (target) interface (LCLIFC) parameter, Local SCSI interface, Internet address element to a supported TCP/IP interface defined in the TCP/IP configuration.
2, 3, 4 - Change the interface to a supported configuration.
-- Use the Change Device Desc (NWSH) (CHGDEVNWSH) command to change the Local (target) interface (LCLIFC) parameter, Local SCSI interface, Internet address element to a supported TCP/IP interface defined in the TCP/IP configuration.
5 - Correct state of the interface. Retry the command.
6 - The vary on for Network server host adapter (NWSH) &5 continued, but NWSH &5 will not be available for use until interface &4 is active.
99 - Use the Display Job Log (DSPJOBLOG) command to see the previous messages listed in the job log. Correct the errors and try the request again.
Technical description . . . . . . . . :
2 - The interface cannot use the *LOOPBACK, *VIRTUALIP, *OPC or *IPS special types.
3 - The interface line type must be (1) *ELAN - Ethernet local area network protocol.
4 - The interface does not support *NWID or *NWSD line description resources.
5 - The interface status must be (0) *INACTIVE, (1) *ACTIVE, (2) *STARTING, or (4) *RCYPND for the requested operation.
