Message : CPDB42A
Resource name &3 not valid for reason code &1, secondary code &2.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : Reason codes are the following:
1 - Resource not found.
2 - Resource was found but the type &5 is not a supported File Server.
3 - Resource was found and the type is a File Server, but the resource is already varied on. Only one NWSD can be varied on for a File Server resource. The NWSD that is in conflict is &4.
4 - Resource &3 was found but not functioning.
5 - Hardware Resource Information was not available.
6 - A configuration error with resource &3 type &5 was found by the system.
7 - Memory configuration not valid for server.
8 - A configuration error with TCPPORTCFG Port &6 parameter was found by the system.
9 - Internal error occurred.
10 - Resource &3 was found and the type &5 is a File Server, but is not compatible with the original File Server type &8 used when the server was first installed.
Recovery . . . : Use the Work with Hardware Resources (WRKHDWRSC) command with TYPE(*CMN) to check the resources that are available.
Reason codes and recovery actions are listed below:
1,2 - Specify a supported File Server resource name.
3 - Specify another File Server resource on the system or vary off the NWSD that is currently varied on. To vary off the active NWSD, use the Vary Configuration (VRYCFG) command with CFGTYPE(*NWS) STATUS(*OFF) CFGOBJ(&3) specified.
4 - The File Server did not report in or was not operational. Display the QSYSOPR message queue (DSPMSG command). Look for messages at the beginning of the message queue that indicate equipment was removed or failed, and do the recovery action specified in those messages.
6 - A conflict exists between resource &3 type &5 and the physical interface specified by the Port &6 parameter. Change the Line type specified for Port &6 to match the physical interface.
7 - The amount of useable memory reported for resource &3 is insufficient to operate the server. Only &7 megabytes of useable memory was reported.
- Change the resource name (RSRCNAME) parameter to a File Server resource that has more memory.
- A hardware change of the File Server may be required.
8 - A conflict exists between the TCPPORTCFG Port &6 parameter and the physical interface. Change the TCPPORTCFG Port parameter to match the physical interface.
9 - See messages on this display or listed in the job log (DSPJOBLOG) command. Correct any errors, then try the request again.
10 - Use the Change Network Server Description (CHGNWSD) command to change the resource name for NWSD &4 to a File Server type compatible with &8. To use Resource name &3 type &5, a new installation must be performed.
If the problem continues, report the problem (ANZPRB command) specifying the system machine type and serial number.
